Good evening everybody! Tonight I’m bringing you part two of Ellen & Rob’s Excellent Adventure. In case you missed it, you can get Part 1 right here.
Meals were consumed in the upright position. Things were getting a little desperate.
I picked up this simple french provincial dining room table and 6 chair set at my local Habitat for Humanity ReStore for $60. Steal!
I unfortunately did not get a shot of the tabletop beforehand, but it was pretty basic.
Here’s a fun shot of the table’s belly – fully decorated with crayons. This made me laugh so hard because I’m totally guilty of doing the same thing as a child!
I left a little message underneath for Ellen & Rob’s nieces and nephews to find later.
We added a vintage clock, a set of passed down pintuck curtains and an old painting of Ellen’s to complete the look:
Recognize that rug? It’s one that I’ve used plenty of times staging photos in my workshop. I think it’s really going to love it’s new home! Of course no dinner party is complete without my signature mason jar filled with white hydrangeas! And don’t you just love those recovered chair cushions? They are made from an old Home Depot drop-cloth!
I sure am enjoying sharing these rooms with you! What’s been your favorite piece so far?
