Charlie in Charge
Long time no post! I’m happy to report that the furniture flipping is going so well! Not only are my pieces selling, but I’m literally having the best. time. ever. doing it. Really, the opportunity gives me an outlet to explore my love for interior design, art, color study, up-cycling and my love of hunting for a good deal.
I’ve taken to naming all of my pieces recently because it helps me to stay on track with the vision that pops into my head when I see a “naked” piece. That said, I’d like you to meet someone very special to me, his name is Charlie.
Charlie and Pearl were a package deal at the Salvo and although he sat neglected for a few weeks, his beauty instantly popped with a little elbow grease! I sanded and stained his top, bathed him in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White with clear and dark waxes and finished the hardware off with some Rustoleum paint in high shine black.
I was so tempted to keep him, but Charlie is going to his forever home tonight in Newton, PA. Bye bye, Charlie.
