spread love, its the brooklyn way

Good evening! I’m blogging from the couch as Jeff and I share a very lazy Saturday at home. Tomorrow is a big day for me, I’ll be traveling to Hoboken, NJ to deliver the magnificent bedroom set including the lbdresser to my good friend, Jennie.
I’m also dropping off this cute little desk/vanity to Jennie’s friend, Lindsay! Lindsay will be moving to Brooklyn, a place I’ve been desperate to visit. She knew just what she was looking for and it was a pleasure to find it!

We had to find something that was under 3 feet wide which I have to admit, I thought MIGHT be impossible… but I was searching the local Habitat for Humanity for some lamps when I saw it! I only had my little Kia Forte, but somehow I managed to fit it in the backseat and make it home. We went with a dark, stained top paired with a body done in Paris Grey by Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. The metallic silver looks awesome with it! I had a blast staging with some special touches including my grandmother’s pearls & my cousin Lauren’s hand-me-down wedding earrings.
