tale of 3 tables

what do you get when you mix together 2 side tables, a coffee table and a Sunday night with no plans? You get these beauties… well duh!
I picked this sitting room set a little bit ago with a whole bunch of other pieces and couldn’t wait to get my hands on them! I haven’t done French provincial in what feels like forever!

I’m not sure where I was going with these babies.. at first I was thinking of doing something super distressed with wood & white but once I got a coat of white on them, I knew I wanted to keep going. I did two coats with Rustoleum Chalked in Linen White and then 2 coats of Aged Grey before taking them outside and beating the ever-living piss out of them with a sanding block. Really good to get some work frustration out there, haha! I finished them off with some Van Dyke Brown glaze from General Finishes.
