grey ladies

hey friends… Jack’s mom here! Gosh I love saying that, and him, and being a mom! Look at this stinkin cute face… 

Momming is totally awesome and I’m loving every minute. Even when I’m half asleep during the day and wide awake at 2AM. He is a scream of a dream come true. I love him more than I could have ever accounted for. Which leads me to an unexpected announcement… as of tomorrow I’ll officially be a stay-at-home mom. Ya see, tomorrow was supposed to be my first day back to work from my maternity leave and I just absolutely positively could not, would not, no way ever, make myself leave this little love bug. It is a damn scary prospect and a huge leap of faith but we’re doin’ it.

I’m not exactly sure what being a SAHM will mean for me, but I know one thing, it means a heck of a lot more furniture. Well, that is if I can pull my mom’s arm into watching the baby a few hours, a few days a week. I might have to beg her… I don’t know. ;)

Anyway, back to the reason we’re all here… the good old before and after reveal.

Remember the vintage bedroom set I redid in navy for my guest room? Here it is incase you need a reminder:

Well the guest room became Jack’s room and it ended up in our third bedroom which is going to eventually become Jack’s playroom so I went ahead and gave it ANOTHER makeover and it is now for sale. It is seriously dreamy in person and I am envious of whoever brings this quadruple threat home!

We’ve got a Paris Grey base with a Pure White Wash finished off with some satin nickel pulls & knobs. I love, love, loooove how it turned out. See for yourself:
