Hey friends, coming to straight to you from Jack’s nap time so this might be a quicky… as this kid does not like to nap! Not unless his Mimi is holding him of course, and then he can go for 2-3+ hours at a time just hanging in her arms.
Today’s make-over is such a cute, little dresser that looks like it belongs in an Anthropologie display… but it didn’t start there!
We plan, God laughs… am I right? I originally had visions of this little black dresser done up in a nice whitewash, but alas, the wood was super funky! Here’s the before:
And here is a look after I sanded little beast and stained her up:
Weird wood grain, right?! My mom talked me into trying to lime wax it, but I still wasn’t thrilled:
So I took it back down to the studs and started over. I built the entire piece around these gorgeous ceramic white flower knobs. Talk about cute and whimsy! Some fun details include a cool transition on the drawer sides, original castor wheels and a fun pop of pattern and color inside the drawers. Take a look…
It’s available for $325. Drop me a line if you are interested!
