coral me crazy

Top of the morning to ya! I’m taking a few quiet minutes to share another piece with you before the crazy chaos of today starts.
I was feelin’ gooood, feelin’ great after electric blue sold within only a few hours of posting. I made a promise to myself to stay outside of my comfort zone more often.

Enter this awesome dresser that my sister in law picked up for me from the discard pile at work.

Brass hardware, beautiful legs, clean lines… I love it! I used a custom mix of Annie Sloan’s Emperor’s Silk and Barcelona Orange to create a coral shade that I think is just perfect! Here’s the finished product:

This piece, as well as several others are making the trip to Fair Lawn, New Jersey tomorrow as part of a complete apartment overhaul for my best friend and soul sister, Ellen Mary.
