good morning! I’ve had this dresser set for quite awhile now. I picked it up with the pink ombre desk from a lady who was liquidating her mother’s estate. Both were in OK shape but had some cracking in the veneer. Here’s a look at them in my shop:
I spent awhile trying to decide my plan of attack for these. I knew I wanted to call out the awesome inlay so I thought maybe a two tone paint job would do it. Meh, it wasn’t working. Then I saw THIS on Pinterest:

...and just knew I needed to find a patterned paper. I hit the jackpot on Ballard Design’s site right after Christmas. The old english document print was JUST what I was looking for.

These pieces are so, so awesome. They might look petite, but they hold SO much. I had Jeff’s clothes in them temporarily when we first moved and when I went to move everything into a newer set, I was so surprised that I came up 3 drawers worth of space short! Here’s how they look today:
And of COURSE my dogs need to jump right into the shot as soon as they hear my camera fire up… good thing they are cute! Now I’m headed back to the couch to relax for a bit before hitting the grocery store to do some shopping for the week. Hope you are having a great Sunday, too!
